Athletes: How to Accept Rejection In Your Sport

Sports are a common activity for teens to get their minds off of things. A big part of this is training for bigger goals than your every day school sports.All around the world, student athletes are racing against one another for scholarship oppurtunities. Though this an achieveble goal,a majority of these athletes aren't recruited by universities. Due to this, mental health checks are important. Taking such a loss like this can be critical, especially when some children plan their whole lives for that moment. It's believed that more should be done for these unfourtanate players. The biggest thing to take from all of this is to just keep going. Though your athlete may not have been selected by their #1 school, this doesn't mean their dreams end here.
